Praying The Stations of the Cross is a very popular during the season of Lent. By walking through Jesus' last day on earth we are able to truly enter into the reason for the season. This article can tell you a little more about the practice and how it can help you this Lenten season.
How Praying the Stations Can Boost Your Lent
Below are three different ways to look at the stations. The first is a simple written guide that you can print off and use with our very own stations at SSJP. You will find them along the walls of our worship space. The two videos feature another youth groups reenactment, and well as some of the sights and sound from World Youth Day last summer. As you watch the video on world youth day, try and identify each station that is portrayed through the art.

The Diocese of Little Rock in Arkansas has compiled a great list of resources for teens to learn from during the Lenten season. If you follow the link below, you can explore many different resources including prayer guides, reflections, videos, and other sites that can teach you a lot about what Lent really means. One really good one includes frequently asked questions about Lent, so that you know what the right answer is when a friend ask why you have to have just cheese pizza on Fridays now. Check it out HERE!

This is my challenge for you this Lent! If you have something already in mind that will help you grow to a better understanding of God and the world around you then great! I think this is a pretty good challenge too that doesn't involve giving up your phone!
