Dear Lord,

I know you have a plan for me, a better one, a right one, and I am asking for the grace to be open to it. You are more powerful than my past and can bring me the healing I need.
Take my plans, I give them to you now. Only you know if they will bring me the fulfillment I seek.
Please show me the way, guide my steps, and help me to trust that you are by my side always.

Please help me to find you in every moment throughout my day.
Help me to see that my life is a gift and that your will is perfect and to be open to it.
Come into my heart. I open the door for you now, and ask you to flood my heart with your unfailing love for me.
Lord, your plans for me are peace, and not disaster. Please bring me to the bright future you have in mind.

 In Jesus’ name.

Amen.

“'For I know well the plans I have in mind for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for your welfare, not for woe. Plans to give you a future full of hope’”        – Jeremiah 29:11

In this video, Paul J. Kim is sharing his story and message with young people at a conference. He is a national Catholic speaker who connect to his audience though music, humor, and real life testimony. This talk is inviting all of us to really be open to what God is calling us to do in our lives and asking us to rise to whatever challenge that may be. Le us see what he has to say.

Coming to God changes us. After reflecting on the story of Lazarus (John 11: 1-44) spend some time with God looking at these two questions. You can journal, talk to God, or share with another person your thoughts.
